Leblois’ book about the Dreyfus affair is one of the most instructive books about people that we have. The book shows very clearly that people are very different, and function very differently. The differences matter greatly for society.

Apart from annexes, Leblois’ book consists of a history of about 100 pages, and about 900 pages of witness accounts. It has no analysis and conclusions however. A practical digital edition was missing. Hence this new edition. It remedies the gaps.

In the new edition, the original text of Leblois is sandwiched between introductory and concluding sections.
